Encouraging the Next Generation of Plant Nutrition Leaders!
The 2025/2026 African Plant Nutrition Scholar Award Program is now accepting applications. Graduate students around Africa are encouraged to apply for this esteemed prize program, which is intended to encourage excellence in the field of plant nutrition research, from the African Plant Nutrition Institute (APNI).
Qualifications
The following criteria must be fulfilled by applicants in order to be eligible for the African Plant Nutrition Scholar Award:
- Be enrolled as a Ph.D., M.Sc., or M.Phil. student.
- Study Area: Focus on plant nutrition by specializing in soil science, agronomy, horticulture, or tree crop science.
- Institution Location: Must be enrolled in an African institution that awards degrees.

- Monetary Prize: Selected students will receive ten (10) rewards of $2,000 (US dollars) each.
