2025/2026 University of Glasgow African Excellence Award
The 2025/2026 University of Glasgow African Excellence Award is open to appropriately qualified African students who want to pursue master’s-level coursework in the UK. High-achieving students from all around Africa are encouraged to apply for the scholarship in order to help them become future world changers. The university is beginning a one-year postgraduate teaching Masters program and is giving 15 scholarships to overseas students from Africa.

2025/2026 University of Glasgow African Excellence Award Qualifications
The following requirements must be fulfilled by applicants in order to be eligible for the University of Glasgow African Excellence Award:
- exhibit superior academic performance and earn grades that are on par with UK 1st Class Honors;
- Provide a spot in a postgraduate taught one-year master’s program for the September 2024 intake (a place offer is not required to apply, but applicants will need one to be considered for an interview; they should also take into account the application deadlines listed on the program’s websites);
- possess the status of an international fee;
- have an address in Africa;
- Possess a well-defined career and/or growth goal that will be backed by master’s-level coursework (through the application form); be able to show that they can afford UKVI living and maintenance expenses by June 30, 2024 (only necessary if they are awarded a scholarship after a successful interview).
