2025 Central Queensland University RTP Scholarship in Australia. All international students who wish to study in Australia can now apply for the Australian Government-funded Central Queensland University RTP Scholarship. The Queensland University RTP Scholarship is a $36,000 yearly award given to students to help cover living expenses while they pursue a postgraduate research degree.
Conditions
In order to be eligible for the RTP Scholarship at Central Queensland University, you need to:
- be a domestic or international student enrolled in one of CQ University’s approved RHD programs.
- not have any additional sources of income to cover the candidate’s living expenses
- fulfill the prerequisites for admission to CQ University’s Masters by Research or PhD programs.
- not be getting a Commonwealth scholarship award that is comparable and intended to help with RHD tuition costs.
- fulfill the CQ University’s standards for English competence.
Advantages
- Successful applicants will have their entire tuition paid for by the scholarship.
- In addition, a $36,000 annual stipend will be given for three years.
Criteria for Selection
The RTP Scholarship is awarded on the basis of merit. Scholarships will be awarded to qualified applicants based on a Scholarship Assessment Scale that uses three performance categories:
- Writing proficiency and academic success (0–20 points)
- Research project quality and conformity to CQUniversity’s research priorities (0–15 points)
- Proof of drive, research background, and research setting (0–15 points)

- Apply to the University for a Research Higher Degree (Master’s or PhD).
- Talk to your supervisory team about your interest in a RHD Scholarship.
- Based on the supervisory team’s advice, the School of Graduate Research will ask potential candidates to submit an application.
