2026 Western Union Foundation Fellowship Programme.

The 2026 Western Union Foundation Fellowship Programme empowers those who support or are from communities who are refugees, highly marginalized, or have been forcibly relocated worldwide. It is a fully-funded Impact Fellowship. Fellows will acquire vital networks, resources, and skills through this program that will help them grow their businesses and have a greater impact.

Advantages

With the help of Watson Institute and Western Union, this fully funded Fellowship will provide you with the resources, network, and guidance you need to increase the impact of your business. With carefully chosen facilitators, mentors, and speakers who have extensive experience in bringing about significant change within these communities, the Fellowship is especially tailored for entrepreneurs and leaders from underserved, refugee, and forcibly displaced communities around the world.

Conditions

  • Profile of an Entrepreneur
  • You are actively working to address concerns for marginalized, refugee, or displaced communities because you have personally encountered their struggles.

Stage of Venture

Your charity or for-profit company is actively serving clients or beneficiaries in marginalized places and has a proven business plan. With the help of committed mentorship and resources, you are now prepared to increase your influence.

Location and Qualifications

We invite applicants who live in or are making an impact in the following areas to apply:

The United States, Brazil, Uganda, Nigeria, the United Kingdom, India, Bangladesh, Mexico, Germany, Colombia, Japan, Pakistan, the Philippines, Argentina, Colombia, and Costa Rica.

Procedure for Selection

Important Dates

  • Schedule: 25 August–16 December 2025
  • Immersive: beginning August 25, 2025, a two-week virtual immersion
  • Summit virtually: December 16, 2025
  • Time Dedication
  • Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM MT (GMT-6) are the weekly sessions.
  • Weekly Commitment in Total: 8–10 hours
  • Duration of Immersion: 10–15 hours weekly

Essential Elements

  • Interactive online meetings with your cohort are known as virtual workshops.
  • Basecamp: Organize a one to three-day impact workshop in your neighborhood.
  • Virtual Summit: Make a pitch to entrepreneurs, funders, and leaders
  • Development of the Community Stipend: Fellows will get financial help to organize and execute their Basecamp—an interactive, community-focused workshop.
