Students interested in Internet and technology policy can now apply for the Google Public Policy Fellowship in the United States in 2025.. Fellows who are accepted will have the chance to work on these topics in Washington, D.C.-based public interest organizations for a semester. All students enrolled in undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs at any university or postsecondary institution are eligible to apply.
A lead mentor at a host organization is assigned to fellows through the U.S. Google Public Policy Fellowship, giving them the chance to collaborate with many senior staff members, participate in the public discourse on digital policy concerns, and pursue future academic and career interests. These contributions could take the form of policy research and analysis, report and white paper writing, attending industry and government conferences and meetings, and engaging in other advocacy actions.

Eligibility Criteria
Students eligible to apply to the Apply For The U.S. Google Public Policy Fellowship 2025 should be passionate about technology, and eager to spend the semester diving headfirst into Internet policy;
Must be 18 years of age or older by January 1, 2025.
Must be eligible and authorized to work in the country of your fellowship.
Can be students from all majors and degree programs who possess the following qualities are encouraged to apply:
Demonstrate or state commitment to Internet and technology policy.
Excellent academic record, professional/extracurricular/volunteer activities, subject matter expertise.
First-rate analytical, communications, research, and writing skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and efficiently, and to work smartly and resourcefully in a fast-paced environment.
Benefits | U.S. Google Public Policy Fellowship
Fellows who work full-time, or 40 hours/week, will receive a stipend of USD 12,000 for the fellowship.
Fellows who work part-time, or 20 hours/week, will receive a stipend of USD 6,000 for the fellowship.
Application Procedure
As long as you are enrolled in a college or university program as of January 1, 2025, you are eligible to participate in the Google Public Policy Fellowship 2025.
Application Deadline: The U.S. Google Public Policy Fellowship 2025 application is Friday, November 15 , 2024.
The Spring 2025 Fellowship will begin in January 2025 and run through May 2025.
