Applications for the Erasmus Mundus EACH Scholarships for International Students in 2025–2026 is open. The two-year international Joint Master’s degree program called EACH, or Excellence in Analytical Chemistry, is designed to train analytical chemistry specialists and prepare them for employment in chemical analysis labs for the environment, food, and health as well as in the food, pharmaceutical, materials, and energy industries globally. Both the basic and applied facets of contemporary analytical chemistry are covered by EACH.
Four universities oversee the Erasmus Mundus EACH Scholarships program: Åbo Akademi University (AAU), Finland; University of Tartu (UT, coordinator), Estonia; Uppsala University (UU), Sweden; and University Claude Bernard Lyon 1 (UCBL), France. Within the scope of UT’s Applied Measurement Science program, students spend their first year of study learning the basic ideas and techniques of analytical chemistry, chemistry metrology, and the socioeconomic and quality elements of analytical chemistry. The second year, which might be spent at UCBL, UU, or AAU, is focused on particular applications of analytical chemistry.
