European Union (EU) 2024 Youth Empowerment Fund.

by Admin

The EU Youth Empowerment Fund is a major initiative under the EU’s Youth Action Plan. It will provide direct financial support to youth-led initiatives worldwide. The EU Youth Empowerment Fund, which is global in scope but focused on local solutions, was established in collaboration with young people to enable better, youth-friendly access to funding. It is carried out through the Global Youth Mobilisation, a grassroots movement of the Big Six that invests in and empowers young people to drive solutions to the world’s most pressing issues.

The EU Youth Empowerment Fund, through the Global Youth Mobilisation, will make low-barrier funding available to young people at the grassroots level, reducing “red tape” and creating opportunities that are relevant to the needs and priorities of young people, including vulnerable, marginalised, and underrepresented groups. The Youth Empowerment Fund will focus on youth-led decision-making and solutions connected to the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals at the local level, with a special focus on the environment, climate change, and gender equality.

The Fund will fund mentorship and coaching opportunities.
