Students from low-income and developing nations can study at the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom with the help of Reach Oxford Scholarships. The candidate must be a citizen of a country that receives official development aid from the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development’s Development aid Committee (DAC) (OECD).

Many Reach Oxford scholarships (previously known as Oxford Student Scholarships) are available to low-income students who are unable to pursue a degree in their home countries due to political unrest, financial difficulties, or a lack of appropriate educational resources.

To be considered for this scholarship, the applicant must meet the underlisted requirements:

• Must have been offered admission into any of the undergraduate programmes at Oxford University
• Must possess exceptional academic results and also great leadership qualities.
• Applicants should be willing to return to their home country after the completion of their studies.
• Applicants who have not studied at an undergraduate level before will be given priority.

Selection Process

• UCAS Application Deadline: 15 October 2024
• Scholarship Application Opens: 15 January 2025
• Scholarship Application Deadline: 12 February 2025 (by noon UK time)
• Selection Process: March 2025
• Results Announcement: April 2025

Method of Application

• You must make an application to the University of Oxford for an undergraduate course through UCAS by 15 October 2024, and be successful in gaining a place. 
• If you are offered a place at the University of Oxford for an undergraduate course for 2025 entry, you should read the guidance notes, review the application questions and complete the Undergraduate scholarship application online form by 12 noon (UK time) on 12 February 2025. Applications for these scholarships will open on 15 January 2025.
• For 2025 entry applicants who apply by the 12 February 2025 scholarship deadline, the selection process will be undertaken in March 2025.
• Applicants will be informed of the outcome of their application in April 2025.
