Interested candidates must fulfill the following criteria in order to be considered for this research fellowship in Germany:
- Candidates for postdoctoral positions must have finished their PhD or a comparable academic degree within the previous four years.
- Or you can already give a written synopsis of your research and are six months away from finishing your PhD.
- A PhD or other comparable academic degree must have been earned within the last 12 months by seasoned researchers.
- Additionally, a long list of publications in scholarly journals and from publishing houses that adhere to international standards must support his or her academic background.
- Candidates cannot be citizens of Germany.
- Within the 18 months before filing their application, applicants are not allowed to have resided in Germany for more than 6 months in total.
- Candidates must speak English or German fluently.
