For each first-year entering class, Illinois Wesleyan provides need-based financial aid, including the Illinois Wesleyan University President’s Scholarships, to international students. International students are those who do not hold a U.S. citizenship or permanent residency permit.
Scholarships based on merit are available to eligible overseas candidates who have demonstrated exceptional academic success and passed the necessary entry tests. These prizes have full funding and a four-year renewable period.
Every year, two exceptionally talented international students receive these scholarships based on an evaluation of their academic performance, talents, and interests. The President’s scholarship at Illinois Wesleyan University is renewable for a maximum of four academic years.
