USA’s 2025 Yale Emerging Climate Leaders Fellowship- Young practitioners of clean energy and climate change from the Global South who want to expand their professional networks, learn new technical skills, and share perspectives with leading clean energy and climate change experts in the USA are eligible to apply for the Yale Emerging Climate experts Fellowship 2025. With relationships across the university, the five-month, three-part initiative program is housed at Yale’s International Leadership Center. In order to study important topics in the global clean energy and climate change agenda, fellows interact with eminent Yale faculty members as well as a network of leading professionals. The professions represented among the Climate Fellows are diverse.

Eligibility Criteria | USA’s 2025 Yale Emerging Climate Leaders Fellowship
To be considered eligible for the Yale Emerging Climate Leaders Fellowship 2025, candidates are required to meet the following criteria:
Applicants are expected to have 5 to 10 years of professional experience with demonstrated accomplishments at a regional, national, or international level.
There is no maximum age limit, but the program seeks young leaders.
Applicants must be representatives of the Global South, with a diverse representation from Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America/Caribbean.
Applicants must be fluent in English, as an excellent command of the language is essential for full participation in the program.
Climate Fellows must be available in-person for two program weeks: Yale Orientation (April 7-11, 2025) and Paris Closing Week (September 15-19, 2025).
Fellows must also be available for five remote learning journeys between May and early July 2025.
