Yale looks for applicants who have consistently performed exceptionally well academically during their time in high school. It is imperative to have a great GPA, high marks on standardised tests (SAT/ACT), and challenging coursework.
Yale is dedicated to providing financial aid to students according to their need, which means that scholarships are given out based on that need.
Yale places a high importance on leadership abilities and involvement in extracurricular activities beyond academics.
International students as well as inhabitants of the United States are eligible to apply for scholarships. The financial aid process does not differentiate applicants based on their citizenship.
