  • Full-time, UNPAID internship program with five days of work per week.
  • Assists in arranging meetings, briefings, and news conferences with stakeholders.

  • Analyzes current African concerns relevant to UNCTAD’s mandate.

  • Participates in conferences and meetings, and assists with summaries.
  • Maintains office databases, conducts web research, and compiles information about UNCTAD’s activities.

UNCTAD Internship Program for Young Graduates Qualifications

  • Must hold a graduate degree or equivalent.
  • Must be in the final year of their first university degree program.
  • Familiarity with common computer software applications.
  • Demonstrated dedication to UN principles and interest in UN work.
  • Ability to interact effectively with diverse cultural origins and beliefs.
  • Eligibility: Not applicable to staff member’s sibling or child.
  • English proficiency required, French preferred.
