The Commonwealth Distance Learning Program is one of the three master’s programs provided by the Commonwealth Scholarships Commission. This Commission administers the UK government scholarship program, which focuses on international development objectives.

Eligibility for Commonwealth Scholarships for Distance Education in 2024
- Eligibility: Commonwealth citizen with refugee status or a British Protected Person.
- Permanent residency in a Commonwealth country in development.
- A minimum 2:1 upper second-class grade is required for a first degree.
- Unable to pay program expenses in the absence of the grant.

- Submit a scholarship application for Commonwealth Distance Learning.
How to apply for a scholarship in the UK
- All academic transcripts and publications from universities must be submitted.
- Summary of each position’s work history and relationship to the program.
- Previous work experience serves as justification for the scholarship recommendation.
- The names and positions of two referees for possible development influence.
- The development impact statement is divided into four parts.
