Applications for the Slovakian Government’s 2024 National Scholarship Program for Researchers and International students, which supports the mobility of educators, researchers, and students interested in studying in Slovakia, are invited from appropriately qualified candidates. To get a scholarship to stay at a higher education institution or research organization in Slovakia for the 2024–2025 academic year, the Government Scholarship program encourages the mobility of international students, PhD candidates, university lecturers, researchers, and artists.

Slovakian Government National Scholarship Eligibility Requirements
- Eligibility: Applicants must be enrolled in colleges outside of Slovakia.
- Master’s degree candidates in the second tier of higher education or applicants with at least 2.5 years of college experience in the same field.
- Academic mobility: Accepted for study in Slovakia by a public, private, or state university while pursuing higher education outside of Slovakia.
- PhD candidates: Received higher education or scientific training outside of Slovakia and granted permission to study, conduct research, or engage in artistic endeavors.
- International university instructors, researchers, and artists: Stayed in Slovakia for teaching, research, or artistic purposes by an organization with a valid research and development certificate.
