The NDDC’s Overseeing Overseer, Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, made this statement at the organization’s base camp in Port Harcourt during a visit by a representative of Union Bank Nigeria. Dr. Ogbuku emphasized that the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has a duty to collaborate with the appointment on campaigns focused on the empowerment of women in the region.

At the NDDC central command in Port Harcourt, during a civility visit by a Union Bank Nigeria representative, Dr. Ogbuku conveyed the NDDC’s responsibility to collaborate with the Niger Delta Office of Business in order to foster business and provide the associated risks. Additionally, the NDDC is making every effort to scrutinize businesspeople’s presentations that are supported by their strengthening plans.
The Niger Delta Office of Business, under the direction of the NDDC, aims to expand the reach of the Commission by empowering Niger Delta residents through entrepreneurial endeavors. The Public Confidential Organization (PPP) model has been adopted by the NDDC as an optional source of financial support for important initiatives and projects in an effort to accelerate development and encourage enterprising development.
Union Bank Nigeria’s Regional Business Leader for the South, Mr. Chidi Ileka, spoke about the need to empower women to improve their chances of success in the business world.
